(County Water Tender was sent to the Shasta Mountains)....The Water Tender, engineer and Captain were sent before the County Brush Fires were reported.

It arrived in Siskiyou County Monday. Today they begin 12 hour assignments. At last report, the Lava Fire had burned 25,000 acres. Officials said the fire was 70% contained. Because of the dry, windy conditions, a Red Flag warning is in place for that area.
