(El Centro is getting a new library)... Groundbreaking is July 8th.

The new Library will be constructed at 1198 North Imperial Avenue, next to the current Library. The construction project consists of a new 19,811 square foot public Library. The new Library will include a community Room space, staff area, reading area, bookstore and exterior patios. Construction begins this month with a completion date of July 2022. The project is funded solely by Measure P funds. The Groundbreaking Ceremony starts at 8:30 in the morning on July 8th.
