A Brawley man has been charged in a fatal traffic accident that occurred Saturday afternoon.

According to the California Highway Patrol , 54-year old Shefner Larnell Moore was westbound on Albright Road at about 4:00 p.m. Saturday when he collided with a Ford F-250 pickup truck driven by a 60-year old Brawley man that was southbound on State Route 115. The pickup overturned and the driver of the truck sustained fatal injuries. Moore was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment and has been placed under arrest for Felony Driving Under the Influence causing injury or death and Gross Vehicular Manslaughter. The victim's identity has not been released. The accident remains under investigation.
