The National Weather Service has issued a weather advisory for the next several days.

Look for an increasing heat risk this weekend into early next week as temperatures will start increasing Saturday and continue through at least midweek , reaching about 112 on Sunday and Monday before starting to taper off a bit. There is uncertainty regarding thunderstorm chances next week but increasing moisture levels may become sufficient for showers and storms. Rain chances for the Imperial Valley will be at about 40% by Wednesday. Nighttime temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80's.
