(Restrictions for non-essential travelers)....They have been extended at least one more month.

The restrictions are part of an agreement between the United States, Mexico and Canada. They are designed to minimize the spread of COVID 19. Last month, officials from Mexico and the US expressed a hope would end June 21st. Sunday the Department of Homeland Security issued a release saying the agreement would be extended through July 21. The DHS said the US is working with Mexico and Canada to at least ease the restrictions after July 21, if not eliminate the restrictions all together. The restriction agreement was initiated in March 2020 and has been extended every month since. It is designed to limit border crossers to essential crossers.
