An Imperial County Public Health Officer order has been issued.

The Order from County Health Officer Dr. Stephan Munday rescinds and supersedes the previous order of April 7, 2021 and aligns Imperial County with the Statewide Public Health Order opening up the economy. According to Dr. Munday's order , the number of COVID-19 positive cases have steadily decreased and the administration of vaccines has increased , making the opening of local businesses possible. The order also encourages the County to continue it's binational partnership with the City of Mexicali , Baja California , Mexico , to mitigate the impacts of COVID-19 in both communities.
