A 24-year old woman is in Imperial County Jail after an assault Friday morning.

El Centro Police received a report of a stabbing in front of a business in the 1400 block of Ocotillo Drive. A victim had been stabbed in the neck. The victim was not seriously injured. The suspect was arrested a short time later and booked at Imperial County Jail on charges of armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.
