Caltrans says that all lanes of Interstate 8 between Forrester Road and 4th Street in El Centro will be closed from 9 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday.

The closures are needed to make adjustments on the bridge falsework at the I-8 / Imperial Avenue Interchange Project. Traffic will be redirected to Even Hewes Highway for the closure. Caltrans also said that the bridge clearance at the Imperial Avenue overpass has been reduced to 15 feet through September.
