The National Weather Service has issued a Weather Briefing regarding windy conditions expected to develop in the Imperial Valley.

According to the NWS , a weather system will strengthen westerly winds  Imperial Country Saturday afternoon through s Monday morning. Wind speeds are expected to reach 25 - 35 miles per hour with gusts as high as 50 - 55 miles per hour to the west of the Valley and through the San Diego County mountains and 40 - 45 miles in the Valley. The strong winds are expected to be limited more to the evening time frame.
