So far , the State of California has not issued any updated guidance on the use of facial coverings.

The Centers for Disease Control  and Prevention ( CDC ) has updated recommendations related to the use of face masks by individuals that have been fully vaccinated but , the California Department of Public Health ( CDPH ) and Department of Industrial Relations  and Division of Occupational Safety and Health ( CalOSHA ) have not changed their recommendations. At this point , no changes have been announced by the Imperial County Health Officer. Facial coverings are still required in the State of California and Imperial County.

For now fully vaccinated people can:

     * Spend time with other fully vaccinated people , including indoors , without wearing masks of physical distancing ( outside a workplace setting ).

     *  Spend time with unvaccinated people from a single household who are at low risk for severe COVID-19 disease indoors without wearing masks or physical distancing.

     *  Refrain from wearing face coverings outdoors except when attending crowded outdoor events.

     *  Refrain from quarantine and COVID-19 testing following a known exposure if asymptomatic.
