(A Stash House discovered and another group busted in the desert).._..The first incident began as a welfare check.

Yuma County Sheriff's office and Yuma Police responded to a report of suspicious activity. They called the Yuma Sector Border Patrol for back-up. When they arrived at the Cottonwood Trailer Park they conducted a welfare check on the trailer in question. They entered and found six illegal migrants inside The Border Patrol agents took the six into custody. It was determined they were all Mexican Nationals. The six were processed and sent back to Mexico. On Tuesday Border Patrol agents made another major bust in the desert. Sunday two separate groups were found in the desert near Dateland. Methamphetamine, valued at over $200,000 was found in the two incidents. Tuesday, another group was found in the same basic area. This group was carrying $196,000 worth of methamphetamine. Members of the group were arrested and the meth was seized.
