Andy Ruiz , Jr. will step back into the ring Saturday , May 1, 2021.

The former heavyweight boxing champion will meet Chris Arreola at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson , California. This will be Ruiz's , an  Imperial Valley native , first fight since losing his titles in the Anthony Joshua rematch in December of 2019. Ruiz has apparently lost 40 pounds since his last fight and is favored to beat Arreola. The fight is available on Fox Pay per View and various streaming services.
