A traffic accident Friday morning ended with a fatality.
The accident was reported at about 8:15 Friday morning on eastbound Interstate 8 west of Gordons Well. Few details are available but the accident involved a pickup truck and resulted in a partial closure of the freeway. The California Highway Patrol and Imperial County Coroner's Office are investigating.
