Interstate 8 on Mt. Springs Grade was closed for several hours early Friday morning.

Shortly after midnight a tractor-trailer rig overturned near Mt. Springs Road. The driver was not injured but due to the accident , rain and high winds , the freeway was shut down from Ocotillo to Jacumba. Traffic was able to use one lane several hours later and all lanes were reopened by 8:00 a.m.
