The State of California is expanding vaccine eligibility to more people.

Beginning April 1 , individuals aged 50+ will be eligible to make an appointment for the COVID-19 vaccine. Beginning April 15 individuals aged 16+ will be added to the eligibility list. According to the State , expanding vaccine supplies has led to expanding the eligibility lists to include more Californians. Based on current estimates , California expects to be allocated approximately 2.5 million first and second doses per week in the first half of April. More than 3 million doses per week are anticipated in the second half of April.
