(Man lost in the desert)....The California Highway Patrol notified Border Patrol Dispatch.

The CHP said a distress call was received from a man who had said he had entered the United States illegally, and then got lost. Border Patrol agents initiated a rescue operation, using the coordinates obtain from the phone call. It was not long before the lost man was found about 9 miles north of Plaster City. He was a 20 year old Mexican National. Agents say the man was in fair condition, and they provided him with water. It was determined the man did not need medical attention. He was processed and deported back to Mexico.
