(Latest COVID 19 update)....It was released Thursday morning.

The numbers are released by the County Public Health Department. According to the Thursday update, active cases of COVID 19 are now at 51, down from 55 reported Wednesday. The number of deaths attributed to the virus have increased by 2. They are now at 686. There are currently 16 COVID 19 positive patients hospitalized in Imperial County. Seven of those are in Intensive Care. There are 6 ICU beds available in the county. The new cases per day per 100,000 population is now at 2.91 as compared to 3.43 previously reported. The positivity rate is down to 6.95% as compared to 7.48% reported Wednesday.
