Katie B. Luna has announced her resignation as Chief Executive Officer of the Brawley Chamber of Commerce.
Luna has served as the Brawley Chamber CEO for the past 5 years. During her tenure , Luna is credited with enhancing the Chamber's financial stability and setting a strong strategic plan in place. Luna is also credited with launching the Imperial Valley Business Recovery Task Force in April of 2020. The IVBRTF has worked support local businesses in facing the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as reaching out to the public to mitigate the spread of the virus and support the reopening of the local economy. Luna's resignation is effective March 19 , 2021. Luna said she has accepted another leadership position in the community.
