(Sex offender arrested)...It happened this week.

El Centro Sector Border Patrol agents assigned to the Calexico Station found the man after he entered the US illegally. He was found a mile West of Calexico. A records check revealed the man was a 23 year old Mexican National who had been convicted in 2018 of sexual battery out of Sonoma, California. He had been sentenced to 36 months probation for the sex crime and he is required to register as a sex offender. He was placed in federal custody to await criminal proceedings. During this fiscal year El Centro Sector Bo0rder Patrol agents have arrested or removed 9 individuals either convicted or wanted on sexual offense charges.
