(Border Patrol agents seize narcotics)...It had apparently been thrown over the border fence.

Remote Surveillance Systems operators observed several individuals throwing objects over the fence near the intersection of Heffernan Avenue and First Street. Agents working downtown Calexico responded to th scene and found 3 packages laying on the ground. The contents of the packages later tested positive for methamphetamine. The drugs weighed 5.27 pounds and wer valued at around $13,182. The narcotics were turned ovr to th Drug Enforcement Administration.
