(REACH Air expands)....REACH Air Medical Services open a new base.

They have bases in Imperial and in Brawley. Now they are operating out of Salton City, as well. REACH is owned by Global Medical Response, West Group. The Salton City bas will have an Airbus H-125 helicopter that is medically configured with the latest avionics and safety features. The base will be staffed by highly trained and experienced pilots, flight nurses and flight paramedics, and is being maintained by on-sti aircraft maintenance technicians. The Salton City Base is operational 24 hours, 7 days a week. Emergency services personnel throughout the County say the new base not only gives a quicker response to more of the Imperial County, it also provides a back-up for other areas of the County.
