(Two rescued by Bordr Patrol agents)...This rescue happened early Thursday morning.

At around 4:50 Thursday morning El Centro Sector radio communications received a call from the Calexico Police Department. They reported a distress call from a man who had entered the US illegally. The man said he and his partner were lost and his partner had injured his leg. Border Patrol agents began the search, using the GPS coordinates from the phone call and assistance from a small Unmanned Aircraft System SUAS Unit. The drone successfully found the men at around 6:12 Thursday morning, in a mountainous area near Ocotillo. Border Patrol agents on the ground were able to escort the men to safety. The men were provided water, and it was determined they were not in need of emergency medical care. It was determined both men wer Mexican nationals and had entered th US illegally. Both were deported to their country of origin
