(Active COVID Cases decline)....The latest numbers wer released Friday morning.

They are released almost everyday by the Public Health Department. According to the new numbers, active cases of COVID 19 continue to decline. There are currently 759 active cases of the virus in Imperial County, 59 less than what was reported Thursday. Deaths attributed to COVID 19 remains at 551. There are 62 COVID patients hospitalized in Imperial County, 4 less than the Thursday number. There is one ICU bed available in the County. The new cases per day per 100,000 population has gone up slightly. It is now at 32.13, up from the 31.38 reported on Thursday. The positivity rate is steady at 24.06%.
