(Narcotics tossed over the fence)...For several months Border Patrol agents have found small packages of narcotics.
The packages were tossed over the International Border Fence. In all of the incidence there has never been an arrest. That has changed. A Mexicali Newspaper, La Voz De La Frontera, is reporting two arrests. They say Mexicali police arrested two men Thursday. The police reportedly saw the men toss objects over the border fence. The men were detained at Avenida Cristobal Colon and B Street. The report says the two began acting suspiciously when questioned by police. They were arrested after two packages containing methamphetamine were found on the US side of the fence. The newspaper says the two were driving a white truck with California license plates. The Baja California Attorney General's office is investigating the incident.
