President Joe Biden has ordered a halt to the construction of a Border Wall.

Mr. Biden issued a proclamation that " directs an immediate pause in wall construction projects to allow a close review of the legality of the funding and contracting methods used , and to determine the best way to redirect funds that were diverted by the prior administration. One of President Biden's campaign promises was to halt the Border Wall construction  , a signature project of Donald Trumps administration. President Biden's action rescinds the national emergency declaration used by Trump to divert Defense Department money to the border wall project.
