Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District and El Centro Regional Medical Center will each host community vaccination clinics Monday.
Individuals 65 and older are now eligible to start receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. Both hospitals in the Valley are offering the vaccine on a first come-first served basis to this age group. ECRMC will have 600 doses available and PMH has 300 doses. ThePioneers vaccination clinic will be at Gateway Church on Highway 86 by Legion Road. The clinic will run from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday or until supplies run out. The ECRMC clinic will be Monday starting at 7:30 a.m. until the 600 doses are gone. The clinic will be at the ECRMC Medical Office Building , 1271 Ross Avenue.
Individuals at either clinic must show identification and insurance information. Both hospitals said that social distancing and masks will be enforced.
