The Imperial County Public Works Department has some good news and some bad news.

The good news is that Forrester Road between Carter Road and Worthington Road is now open. Crews have completed the bridge structure repairs and reopened the road. The popular county road shortcut to Westmorland and Highway 86 had been closed for several months. The bad news , Shank Road is closed from the Shank Road Bridge to the East Highline Canal. The closure is until further notice as work begins on bridge structure repairs.
