(Single vehicle collision update)....The vehicle landed in a canal Wednesday night.

According to new reports, US Border Patrol agent was attempting a traffic stop on the vehicle. The vehicles were on Highway 86, near Bannister Road at around 11:30 pm. The reports are the vehicle failed to yield, went off the roadway and rolled, landing in the canal. One person in the vehicle refused to exit the submerging vehicle, but was finally forced out. Another person in the vehicle was injured, and transported to Pioneers memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.. That person was arrested by the Border Patrol. The Caifornia Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
