The Imperial County Public Health Department says they know that the State has announced that individuals age 65 and older are to receive the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible.

That's the optimum phrase , As Soon As Possible isn't here yet. According to the County Health Department they are working to secure enough vaccine supplies to provide to the more than 26,000 residents of Imperial County age 65 and older. The Health Department says that the vaccine supply in Imperial County is limited but they are working with the State to secure additional doses. ICPHD says they will announce dates and locations where eligible individual can receive the vaccine as soon as the necessary supplies are secured.
