(Hospitalizations down slightly)...COVID 19 update released Thursday morning.

The updates are released by the County Public Health Department. According to the latest update, the number of deaths attributed to COVID 19 has increased by 6, now totaling 460. Active Cases of COVID 19 in Imperial County is now at 1,878, an increase of 106 over the last report. There are currently 144 COVID 19 patients hospitalized in Imperial County, 4 less than reported on Wednesday. There are still 24 ICU beds available in County hospitals. The new cases per day per 100,000 population has dropped to 68.8 as compared to 74.76 previously reported. The positivity rate has decreased to 34.7%, down from the 39.08% reported Wednesday.
