(Narcotics tossed over the border fence)...It happened twice this week.

In the first incident, Border Patrol agents found a package wrapped in electrical tape near the intersection of G. Anaya Avenue and second Street in Calexico. A second, similar package was found near the intersection of Heber Avenue and First Street. The two packages tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed around 2 pounds. The estimated value of both packages was set at $4,500. The packages were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
