Two stolen vehicles were recovered in separate incidents Saturday.

At about 9:41 a.m. a traffic stop resulted in the recovery of a stolen utility vehicle that hadn’t been reported stolen yet. The vehicle had apparently been taken from a local school that wasn’t aware of the theft. The vehicle was returned undamaged and the thief was cited for Possession of Stolen Property and various drug charges.

shortly after 10:00 a.m. Saturday, police were notified by an automated license plate reader that a possible stolen Ford Fiesta was northbound on Imperial Avenue from Adams Avenue. The vehicle was stopped and recovered. The woman driving the car was released pending further investigation.
