A motorcycle rider died early Saturday morning after colliding with an SUV.

According to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred shortly before 1:00 a.m. Saturday in the 12-400 block of South Avenue B.  A motorcycle ridden by 23-year old Rodrigo Garza of Yuma was south bound on Avenue B when , for an unknown reason , he rear-ended an SUV driven by Roberto Enriquez , 50 , of Somerton. Enriquez was not injured but Garza sustained fatal injuries when he was thrown from the motorcycle. The accident remains under investigation.
