Imperial CountyFire Department battled a stubborn fire Friday.

The fire at Graham and Harriman Roads was reported at about 4:00 p.m. New Years Day. Firefighters were confronted by a fire that involved a shop structure , multiple vehicles , utility poles and brush. Fire personnel were on the scene for several hours.
