A traffic accident Tuesday afternoon resulted in a road closure.

The single-vehicle accident occurred at about 12:25 p.m. on Worthington Road at Huff Road. A vehicle ran into a utility pole and knocked it down. There were no injuries but IID crews needed Worthington Road closed between Huff and Erskine Roads while they repaired the damage. The roadway was closed for several hours.
