(Hurtado trial could end this week)...The trial began last week.

Monday the prosecution and defense wrapped up testimony. The court was dark Tuesday. The trial will resume Wednesday. El Centro Police Officer Alejandra Hurtado is on trial, charged with False Imprisonment and assault with a deadly weapon by means of force that could produce great bodily injury. The trial could be turned over to the jury either Wednesday or Thursday.
