A single vehicle accident caused major injuries Friday afternoon.

The accident was reported at 12:28 p.m. Friday at Highway 86 and Austin Road. A vehicle ran off the roadway , rolled over , and came to rest in a field. One person was injured in the accident. The California Highway Patrol is investigating.
