The Imperial County Public Health Department has released the latest update o the COVID-19 numbers.

As of Tuesday morning there are now 1,351 active cases of the coronavirus in Imperial County. That's an increase of 147 from Monday's numbers. The number of deaths attributed to the virus remains 355. New cases per day per 100,000 population is now 58.81 while the current positivity rate is 28.71 per cent. Both up from the day before. The number of hospitalizations and patients in Intensive Care Units has apparently dipped just a bit from Monday. 

Local healthcare officials are urging Imperial Valley residents to celebrate Thanksgiving responsibly.
