The Operation Gobble Program was held Friday. It is an annual program hosted by the Golden State Water Company. They provided $2,400 worth of Turkey Gift Cards. The cards were distributed in the communities of Calipatria and Niland. Golden State said the cards are for individuals and families with limited resources who may have otherwise gone without a Thanksgiving. Operation Gobble has been a Golden State Water tradition for the past 30 years. @00 families and community members in Calipatria and Niland recieved a card, along with an emergency food box from the Calipatria/Niland Family Resource Center.
