A driver fell asleep in a fast food drive thru and ended up in jail.

At about 10:05 Friday morning employees at a fast food restaurant on South Imperial Avenue in El Centro reported a man had apparently fallen asleep while waiting in the drive thru lane and they could not awaken him. El Centro Police were called and they were able to wake him up. They then arrested the 25-year old man on charges including being a felon in possession of a firearm after a .22 caliber derringer was found in his possession.
