El Centro Police have released more information about the Friday murder.

Investigators are asking for the communities help in identifying the owner of a light-colored , possibly gold or tan , Chevrolet or GMC pick up truck. Police are interested in the truck and it's driver in their active investigation. The driver and occupants should be considered armed and dangerous and the public is advised to not approach the pick up or it's occupants. The identity of the murder victim has been released. Police identified him as 37-year old Raymond Raul Velarde from Imperial. No motive for the shooting has been released.
