Imperial County firefighters battled multiple field fires in the Brawley area.

The first fire was reported at about 6:30 p.m. Friday at Shank and Butters Roads. Imperial County Fire as well as Westmorland , Calexico , El Centro , Holtville and Brawley  Departments responded after a third alarm was issued after at least 3 other field fires broke out in the same area.
