(Mexicali Mayor has the virus)...It was announced this week.

Mexicali Mayor Marina Avila has tested positive for COVID 19. Avila said she was tested after experiencing symptoms. Once the results came back positive, the Mayor said she would isolate herself and conduct city business from her home. Avila said other than feeling a little fatigued, she felt fine. The press release issued to announce the test results did not say how the Mayor had contracted the virus.
