(Previously deported sex offender arrested)...It happened recently.

Border Patrol agents observed a man enter the United States illegally. They took the man into custody about 20 miles west of the Downtown Calexico Port of Entry. A records check during processing revealed the man was a 26 year old Mexican national. He had been convicted last year of having sex with an unconscious person under the age of 18 in San Diego. The man had been sentenced to 180 in jail and 3 years probation, before being deported back to Mexico. The 26 year old was placed in federal custody to await prosecution.
