The California Earthquake Authority is sponsoring the Great California ShakeOut earthquake drill Thursday. 

The annual drill is a reminder that California is earthquake country and we all need to be prepared. The earthquake authority believes it's important that we practice how to Drop , Cover , and Hold On to protect yourself during an earthquake. CEA also said that it's also important to learn how better to protect your home by strengthening it with retrofit so that it can better withstand a damaging earthquake.
