A 17-year old juvenile was arrested Wednesday by members of the Imperial County Narcotics Task Force.
The suspect is wanted in Los Angeles County as a suspect in a double homicide. According to the ICNTF , Special Agents assigned to the Task Force were conducting surveillance at a hotel in Imperial for reported drug sales and gang activity. A vehicle stop was made during the operation and that led to the identification of local individuals with ties to gangs and drug activity. A search of the hotel room located a 17-year old who was found to be wanted in connection with the Los Angeles area double homicide that occurred earlier this month. He was taken into custody as were 40-year old Nina Noriega and 26-year old Idrian Ruiz both from Brawley and both charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
