The latest COVID-19 Dashboard numbers for Imperial County show some improvement.

The number of COVID related deaths has remained at 317. The number of active cases in the county is 320. The positivity rate is at 5.43 % which is below the states metrics for moving forward in the plan to reopen the economy. But the 9.62 new cases per day per 100,000 population is above the states guideline of between 4 and 7. The number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients remains relatively low and the number of ICU patients and patients on ventilators has dropped dramatically from just a few weeks ago.
