Brawley Police are investigating a fatal shooting.

At about 1:00 a.m. Sunday Brawley Police received a report of multiple gunshots in the area of 1100 Leonard Street. According to Brawley Police , while they were in the area of the shooting they were notified by Pioneers Memorial Hospital that two gunshot victims were being treated at the hospital. One victim , a 26-year old Brawley man , died at the hospital. A second victim , also a 26-year old Brawley man , was stabilized at Pioneers and then taken to an out of Valley trauma center. Brawley Police have indicated that the shooting was gang related. They are asking that anyone who might have information on the shooting contact Brawley Police.
