The latest COVID-19 information for Imperial County was released Friday morning.

There are 10,641 total positive cases confirmed with 863 patients considered active cases. The number of deaths is now listed as 287. 

The OptumServe test site in Imperial will close as of Saturday evening but the sites in Brawley and Calexico will remain in operation. Testing is done 7:00a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The testing is free and a physician referral is not needed. You must make an appointment and that can be done through the OptumServe website or through a link on the County Public Health Department website.
