El Centro Sector Border Patrol received a distress call at just after 7:00 Friday morning. Using the GPS tracking system, Border Patrol agents were able to locate the man in the Davis Valley area. The man said he was lost and in need of assistance. The man was assessed for injuries and given water. It was determined the man had entered the US illegally and had been abandoned by a smuggler. The man was processed and then returned to Mexico.
